Anyone know a trick to make sure something's level without an actual level?

    You can use a glass of water, i've done it and it works, use a small glass that is clear all the way around makes it easy to see if the water is level. Or if you are going the other way a piece of string will always hang straight.

        tie a weight of some kind on your string.. it will hang exactly vertical :)
