favorite tool?

Hi all.. what is your favorite tool? The one you just would not give up?

I think mine is my nice heavy duty cordless drill.. it has been handy for so many things!

    a good hammer.
    i know this sounds stupid..but its hard to find one that feels just right. (i covet my dads hammer)

      I know what you mean! When I worked in furniture assembly, I could always tell when I picked up someone else's mallet, even though we all had the same manufacturer! Weird.

    Tool that gave me the biggest thrill at point of purchase was the cordless power drill, but the most interesting to use was the wire stripper--splicing copper wires together to fix my headlight was dicey but rewarding.

    I have to throw my 2c in for my Dremel. It can cut through steel like butter, it can buff out scratches on appliances and furnishings, I can use it to engrave serial numbers on things... it's just a damn handy too to have around.
