The whole thing took me about 2 hours, plus a couple trips to the hardware store (decided I needed a new socket wrench set, and later found out I'd have to have an outflow pipe  custom-cut to fit my existing plumbing).&#xD;
&#xD;
Overall, it saved me money, and was both fun and empowering!  Now I'm off to take a look at that leaky bathroom faucet ...</summary>

    <summary type="html">I had got the pre-set regulator.&#xD;
They are supposed to make an adjustable regulator that I'm going to look at when I go to Lowe's next. If the adjustable one doesn't work, I'm going to talk to some of the irrigation guys. Or maybe I'll see if anyone has any suggestions on the DIY tribe.&#xD;
But it's still real nice to just turn it on and go do something else while all the little drippers run! :)</summary>

Well, it's in and was simple to do. I did it in and evening and part of the morning (not because it takes a long time, but because I started real late in the evening and it got dark).&#xD;
BUT :( ......the system is made to operate at no more than 60psi and our water pressure is way more than that. So, the pressure is too much for the pre-set pressure regulator that I bought. Unless I can find an ajustable regulator I'm going to have to pinch all that pressure back manually or the water just runs out of my drippers. Good thing though, is that I don't have to drag 150 ft. of hose around any more, I can just turn it on and go do something else for a couple of hours. :)</summary>

I think with any project, as long as you start off when you are fresh in body &amp;amp; mind, set aside the time &amp;amp; go in without expectations either way.. isn't nearly as bad as it might be :).&#xD;

Now I know that if mine goes out and I can't get hubby gathered up....it's something I can probably handle.&#xD;
I'm putting in a micro-drip irrigation sytem this weekend (tired of dragging 100 feet of hose around).&#xD;
So far, so good. Just a few more drippers to put on, then I'll turn the water on and we'll see if I get everything in okay. It hasn't been near as hard to do as I had heard people talk about.&#xD;

Mine is an antique and when it does finally croak, I'm going to take it out and not put one back in.&#xD;
I only run mine enough to clean it every once in a while (they're not good for septic systems) and it takes up too much room under the sink.&#xD;

    <summary type="html">Here I am.. reading the instructions for a garbage disposal.. I've never really used mine, and when the realtor came through. it was discovered it doesn't work.&#xD;

Last night I tried the allen wrench to see if I could unjam it, but the danged thing wouldn't budge.. not even with the encouragement of Miss Hammer....&#xD;
&#xD;
So tomorrow I will add garbage disposal replacement to my skills..  any of you done this one yet?  The instructions don't look toooo bad.. but having said that, I may have jinxed it... sure hope I can do it....</summary>
